About us

Fa'ataua Le Ola (FLO) which means “value life” was established in 2000 in response to the Samoan community’s concern regarding the increasing rate of suicide in Samoa.

Our goals

Four key goals to achieve FLO’s purpose as stated in its Vision and Mission statements. 

Goal 1: Providing Services

People in need have access to quality mental health support services

Goal 2: Promoting Learning

People in the community are taught basic communication skills for suicide awareness and prevention 

Goal 3: Showing Leadership

FLO is in the forefront when dealing with problematic social issues which could lead to suicide and is recognized as a leading organization for suicide awareness and prevention 

Goal 4: Being an Effective Organisation

FLO continues to conduct its work and provide services generating positive results in reducing the rate of suicide in Samoa
